Built in Unity, this system blends reinforcement learning, neural memory, and genetic reproduction to create a vibrant ecosystem of autonomous agents capable of eating, fighting, reproducing… and evolving across generations.

🌐 A Brain Made of Pixels

Each AI possesses a neural texture (a 2D image) where:

  • Every pixel encodes Q-values, uncertainty, memory, rewards, and counters.

  • The bottom rows represent internal and environmental sensors: hunger, health, enemies, food, obstacles, density…

  • The AI reads its visual brain, selects an action (move, turn, do nothing…), and updates its brain based on the outcome.

🧬 Simulated Biological Evolution

AI agents can:

  • Reproduce with each other if well-fed and mature.

  • Mix their brains (pixel-wise averaging).

  • Mutate their size and neural structure.

  • Pass down confidence scores and unique names to their offspring.

The result: a self-regulating, living ecosystem, where only the fittest AIs survive and multiply.

🔎 Built-in Visualization Tools

  • IA Observer Manager: Lists and manages all active AIs.

  • AI Brain Viewer: Inspect any AI’s brain in real time, including genealogy, confidence level, and parents.

  • Dynamic UI: Health gauges, blinking eyes, visual FX and sound effects for each action.

AIs are automatically spawned, evaluated, ranked, and recycled if underperforming.
The system saves high-potential brains and archives failures in a virtual graveyard.

Important (WebGL Version)
AIs are not saved automatically in this version.
You must manually save a brain by clicking an agent, then pressing “Save”.
In a future session, you can reload any PNG image as a brain.
And who knows… maybe any image holds the fragments of a consciousness?

  • A visual neural architecture based on 2D Texture2D maps, where each pixel encodes smart data (Q-values, memory, uncertainty, confidence, etc.).

  • A fully autonomous evolution engine featuring reproduction, mutation, and natural selection between AI agents.

  • A real-time visual learning mechanism, independent from traditional neural network architectures.

  • A full suite of in-game diagnostic tools, including live brain inspection, genealogy tracking, performance scoring, and visual behavior logs.

  • A pure reward/punishment logic approach — no clamps, no filters — where all behavior emerges organically from internal states and environmental feedback.
